Cabin Colors

This began as a demonstration piece for the local art group here in Fredericksburg. Cabin Colors depicts the Blacksmith's Cabin at a living history farm (Sauer Beckman Farm) next to the Lyndon Johnson National Park in Stonewall.  I used Kevin Mcpherson's magic grid to paint this - that is, I created a random grid of lines and changed color in each "tile" created by the grid.  It made the painting sing with color.
